The Ocean City Nor’easters are committed to giving the most dedicated young soccer players a place to improve and get noticed through the Premier Development League and this year we continue to bring the best and brightest prospects to the Jersey Shore.

Ken Tribbett (NSCAA Regional AA) – Drexel

Colorado native Tribbett is a 6’2 midfielder who will be an added physical presence in the Nor’easters line up. Tribbett has been lauded with awards from his High School days with All-League, All-State honors and this continued into college where in his Freshman year he picked up the 2010 All-Rookie Team selection and earned a second team All-CAA selection in his Sophomore season. Tribbett is looking to cement his place in the Nor’easters starting eleven and push on to greater experiences with Drexel.

Coach Tim – “Kenny is a tireless worker out of Colorado Rush youth system.  He is a box-to-box player that offers good ideas and thoughts about the game.  His versatility within systems of play makes him a tremendous addition for us.  He serves as not only a ball winner, but also someone that can slow the game down and define the movement and the style of play that we want.”

Nathan Page (NSCAA Regional AA) – Drexel
English midfielder Nathan Page spent time with Norwich City’s youth program as a young player and performed highly enough to represent the England C National team. Page has starred for Drexel University picking up a number of glowing awards as he comes down to the shore in the push into the pro divisions. Page was the recipient of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award in 2011, and named a Philadelphia Soccer Six All-Star, Second Team All-CAA distinction in 2010. His NSCAA Regional AA award tops of a very successful college career.

Coach Tim - “Nathan is quite the special player as he has accomplished so many feats on the field at Drexel since he arrived from Norwich City FC.  He is a possession oriented attacking player that can really run at people and instantly change the game when the ball is at his feet.  He was a huge reason while Drexel had so much success last year and we all anticipate a repeat going into next year.”

Brian Billings (2x NSCAA Regional AA) – Bradley

The 6’2 Apple Valley, Minn. Goalkeeper took over as Bradley’s starting keeper early in his freshman season and has started 42 games for the Braves in his first three years. Billings was an All-Conference (2nd team) and All-Region (3rd team) selection in 2011 and he has helped Bradley to consecutive NCAA Tournaments for the first time in program history. Billings college career comes on the back of his High School success at the prestigious Shattuck-St. Mary’s.

Coach Tim – “Brian has excelled at Bradley in each of his 1^st 3 seasons in the cage and has lead the Braves to the NCAA tournament.  He has great size and commands the box with ease.  He is clearly a field general and is someone that can use his experience from the PDL with Des Moines Menace and make an instant impact with us.  He has played in big games at the college level and has done quite well.”

 
Keegan Balle (College Soccer Madness All-American)- Bradley

Keegan Balle is an Illinois native and a former member of the Chicago Fire academy where he played as a strong and solid defender. Balle added to his Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team selection in 2010 with an All-American:  CollegeSportsMadness.com (2012, 4th Team) and a All-Missouri Valley Conference:  2012 (2nd Team)

Coach Tim - “Keegan is just a flat out quality soccer player.   He does the big things well and the small things even better.  He grew up in the Chicago Fire organization and has done very well at the college level serving as Bradley’s 9^th All-American.  He can play in tight spaces and open the game up.  He can ping a ball for sure and will allow us to make a variety of tactical adjustments based on match situation.  His experience in big games compliments his accomplishments on the field as a player.”

JP Correa (NSCAA Regional All-American and College News Freshman All-American)- Rutgers

JP Correa was ready to play for the Nor’easters in 2012 but injury kept him out. This season he is fit and raring to go. Correa was named to the All-BIG EAST Rookie Team and was a NSCAA Second Team All-Northeast Region selection in 2011 and he is looking to show that kind of form this summer.

Coach Tim - "JP is looking to redefine his career after being hurt this past season at Rutgers.  He is an accomplished player that can do so much on the ball in the MFD and Final 3^rd.  He is crafty, technical, and makes guys around him better with his vision, but he can also take over a game in an instant when he opts to do his thing."
