Adam Sternberger (Mays Landing/Ocean City H.S.) of the Ocean City Barons earned the National Player of the Week award from CollegeSoccerNews.com after he led Rutgers University to a 2-1 overtime win over #8 Notre Dame in the Big East tournament quater finals. He was also named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week. He scored the equalizing goal in the 79th minute and the game-winner in the second overtime period to send the Scarlet Knights into the semifinals. In that Semi-final Rutgers will face West Virginia University on Firday, November 3rd, at Yurack Field, 5.30pm Kick-off.
