Nor'easters Beat Lone Star FC 7-0
Warm up game for US Open Cup goes to plan
The Ocean City Nor'easters won their warm up game 7-0 against Junior Lone Star FC of the National Premier Soccer League.
The game was used by Coach Oswald and the Nor'easters in preperation for their US Open Cup first round match up against the New York Red Bulls U23s.
Goals from returners Frank Tweneboa, Zoncher Dennis and new boys Nick Perea, Ken Tribbet, Michele Patiai helped show that the Nor'easters have added quality to their 2012 Mid-Atlantic Division championship team.
Coach Oswald was very happy with the result and the performance, "It was great to see the boys out on the field and showing us what they can do as they are all competing for starting spots. I am very happy with what I saw and expect us to put together a great season."
Junior Lone Star FC are based out of Philadelphia, PA and play in the Keystone Conference of the National Premier Soccer League. The NPSL have a large represenation in the first round of the US Open Cup and is a well respected soccer league.
