Nor'easters in the Pro's Update
With the MLS Season fast-approaching we take a look at how our Alumni in the pro-ranks are progressing.
Ryan Richter - Toronto FC
After signing for Toronto last year from USLPro side Charleston Battery, Ryan will be looking to build on a succesful debut season in 2014. The 2013 season saw Ryan make 13 MLS regular season appearances, starting 12 of them whilst also contributing an assist from right defense.
Ryan starts this season as part of one of the most exciting franchises in the entire MLS; the signings of big name players such as Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, striker Jermain Defoe and Team USA star Michael Bradley have led to a real buzz of expectation around the club.
We wish Ryan the best of luck and look forward to seeing him play at the highest level in US mens soccer for years to come. If you would like to get Ryan's views on the season you can find his Twitter page here.
Ryan Finley - Columbus Crew
Ryan goes into the 2014 season on the back of an extremely promising debut season in the MLS, in his first year out of college Ryan appeared in 14 games, contributing a goal and an assist in 430 minutes on the field.
Ryan will be looking to push on this season as the Crew look to build upon their eighth place Eastern Conference finish last season. Nor'easters fans will be particularly interested on April 5th when Ryan Richter and Toronto FC travel to Crew Stadium in a battle of the Nor'easters alums.
Everyone at the Nor'easters would like to wish Ryan the best of luck in the season ahead and will be keeping a close eye on his progress. If you would like to see Ryan's take on the season you can find his Twitter page here.
