Despite a strong push at the end, the Nor'easters run in the Fan-Voted Playoff came to an end in the Semifinals. East Atlanta FC, a 2020 expansion team, and their apparently massive fan base was just too strong. We would like to thank all of our fans and alumni for their support and helping us get to the national final four. The Nor'easters can't wait for 2021 to arrive so the team can get back to playing games on the field at the Beach House.

The votes have been counted and the fans and alums of the Ocean City Nor'easters have helped the club move closer to a championship. The Nor'easters edged AC Connecticut 53% to 47% to win the Eastern Conference championship in the USL League Two Fan-Voted Playoff Quarterfinals.
With the win, the Nor'easters advance to the national semifinals where they will square off with Southern Conference champion East Atlanta FC. Voting is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 24. The winner of that matchup will take on the winner of AHFC Royals (Central Conference) and San Francisco City FC (Western Conference) in the tournament final.
"We're really proud of the way that our fans and alums have stepped up to support our club during the Fan-Voted Playoffs so far," said Nor'easters general manager Giancarlo Granese Jr. "While we would obviously much prefer to be fighting for a championship on the field, this has been a fun event to keep our Nor'easters family engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic. We're thrilled to represent the city of Ocean City on the national stage, even if it's an online stage."
It has been a challenging road to the semifinals for the Nor'easters. After receiving the most votes of any team in the Mid-Atlantic Division, they moved on to defeat the Westchester Flames in the opening round of the Round of 16 before edging AC Connecticut in the Quarterfinals.
