Nor'easters seeking game day operations manager, team manager for 2024 season

The Ocean City Nor'easters play their home games at one of the best locations of any soccer team in the country. In order to create an exceptional game day experience for fans and players at Carey Stadium in Ocean City, N.J. this summer, the club is looking to hire two crucial positions. The team is seeking a game day operations manager and a team manager for the upcoming 2024 USL League Two season.

GAME DAY OPERATIONS MANAGER

The person hired for this paid position will be in charge of making sure everything is set up for all six regular season home games and any potential playoff and championship games between May and the first week of August. This includes, and is not limited to, the set up and break down of the Nor'easters' merchandise table, sponsorship signage, and tasks will also include managing both locker rooms and coordination with match officials.

Home games at the "Beach House" are very much a team effort, on and off the field. The person hired for his position will work with the team's general manager and a group of talented interns to make sure everything runs smoothly on game day.

There are six regular season home games scheduled for the Nor'easters' 27th season. The schedule has not been finalized as of yet, but all home games will take place on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights. A typical work day would be roughly between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.

TEAM MANAGER

The role of the team manager is to make sure the players and coaches have everything they need for practices and all game days. They are expected to attend all practices and to bring all of the team gear to the field and make sure everything is set up and taken down.

The team manager also plays a key role in the team's 12 regular season games (both home and away), as well as any potential playoff and championship games. For the Nor'easters' away games, the team manager assists with any transportation needs, in addition to making sure all jerseys and equipment are organized for the road trip. For home games at the Beach House, they must help with all game day setup, equipment management and helping put that same equipment away after the game.

Anyone interested in either position can send a resume and cover letter to ocnoreasters@gmail.com.
