Nor'easters announce Indoor Rec Program to introduce soccer to Kindergarten, Pre-K kids
Registration now open for program that kicks off on March 17 in Ocean City, N.J.
The Ocean City Nor'easters are excited to announce the clubs's 2018 Spring Recreation Indoor Soccer Program. The six-session program will kick off on March 17 and run through the end of April and is focusing on giving the youngest players begin their love for the game.
The Spring Rec Indoor Program is open to kids from pre-K through kindergarten as they will be provided with a fun introduction to the game of soccer.
The program will be hosted in Ocean City, New Jersey at the Civic Center located at 840 E. 6th Street.
Each session will be one hour and will take place once per week with the goal of developing basic soccer skills and technical ability through fun activities, drills, and scrimmages.
"We are excited to bring the indoor rec program back to Ocean City this Spring," said Nor'easters general manager Giancarlo Granese Jr. "We believe in getting kids to learn the game early and starting with pre-K and kindergarden ages will help lay that foundation for future growth and enjoyment of the game. We look forward to continuing our bond with the local children of Ocean City and surrounding areas and their families."
Registration is open at a cost of $60. All registered players will receive a t-shirt and one free admission to an Ocean City Nor'easters game at Carey Stadium this summer. Participants should bring water bottles and shin guards to each session.
The Nor'easters are proud to offer help to families facing financial hardship. If you or someone you know are interested but are unable to afford the program, please contact the club's Director of Marketing Jill Adamson.
