Defending Eastern Conference champions to host tryout April 15 at Total Turf in Pitman, NJ

Register today: Nor'easters to hold second open tryout session on Saturday

With less than two months left before the 2017 Premier Development League season kicks off, the defending Eastern Conference champion Ocean City Nor'easters are looking for a few good men.

The Nor'easters will host a second open tryout session at Total Turf Experience in Pitman, NJ on Saturday, April 15. The tryout will take place from 7 - 9 p.m.

The Nor'easters are looking to build on the club's national semifinals appearance last year and are looking for fresh talent to be a part of what hopes to be a championship season in 2017 under new head coach John Thompson.

The Nor'easters are looking to fill roster spots for the 2017 PDL team, as well as the Under-23 and Under-20 teams.

"We had a great showing at our last tryout in Ocean City and have been considering some of those players for our PDL, Under-23, and Under-20 teams," said Nor'easters general manager Giancarlo Granese Jr.

"The goal of this final tryout is to put the finishing touches on our 2017 rosters and hopefully find some players that will have a large impact on the upcoming season and beyond," he added. "The season is right around the corner and we are very excited to get things rolling to defend our Eastern Conference championship."
