Ocean City, NJ – The Nor’easters, winners of three of their last four matches, will host NJ-LUSO Parma at Carey Stadium on Saturday evening at 7pm. The Parma carries a 1-8-0 PDL record into The Beach House, and will be eager to upset Ocean City and avenge the Nor’easters 4-1 victory over NJ-LUSO on June 4th. Man of the Match Aaron Dennis scored a brace in that game to propel Ocean City to victory, and improve the Nor’easter’s all-time record against the Parma to 12-1-1. Frank Tweneboa (Ocean City’s Man of the Match in Sunday’s victory over FA Euro) added a goal, along with striker Ben Maurey. Mitch Grotti pitched in with one assist. The Nor’easters took 13 shots to NJ-LUSO’s 11 in that matchup and Ocean City keeper Colin Webb made six crucial saves to preserve the 4-1 victory.

Watch for Parma midfielders Boluwatife Akinyode (8), who scored LUSO’s lone tally on June 4th, and Yusuf Hamza (15) to lead the attack on Saturday. Chris Kennedy (16), NJ-LUSO’s foremost defender, leads the team in minutes and will anchor their back line.

This Saturday is Family Fun Night! Every youth ticket-holder will receive a coupon for one free ride at Gillian’s Wonderland Pier. The annual Nor’easters Mascot Race will take place at halftime, so come prepared to cheer on Bobby the Storm Chaser and your favorite South Jersey mascots!
